Get to Know Your Principal

My name is Constance Hash. I have been an educator for 29 years and have been a school administrator for 17 years. I completed my undergraduate work (B.S. Early Childhood Education) at Winston-Salem State University, and my graduate work (M.Ed. Elementary Education) and my Principalship certification at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am currently enrolled in a post-graduate program at Appalachian State University preparing to be a doctoral candidate in Educational Administration. 

Past Experience: 

My 29 years as an educator include the following experiences:

Eight Years:  Principal, Mineral Springs Elementary School
Five Years: Principal, Speas Elementary School
Six Years: Assistant Principal, Piney Grove Elementary
Two Years: 2nd Grade Teacher, Kernersville Elementary
Eleven Years: 1st Grade Teacher, Vienna Elementary
Six Years: Summer Enrichment Teacher
One Year: Summer School Coordinator

Responsibilities:

My role as Principal of Mineral Springs Elementary includes the following responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership, Development of School Vision, Facilitation of Faculty Professional Development, Supervision of Personnel, Facilitation of Communication and Resource Management, Coordination of Safe and Orderly Environment, Enhancement of Social Capital and Partnerships.
